Flood Resilience Networks operate in 3 Sheffield flood risk areas, in order to support local people in preparing for potential flooding events.

The 3 areas are:

Kelham Island, Sharrow Vale, Winn Gardens


The main aims of the Flood Resilience Network are to:


  • Raise awareness of flooding issues within the target communities
  • Promote self help and flood preparation within each community
  • Provide key sources of information to community members in times of flood
  • Encourage uptake of Floodline Warnings Direct service and completion of personal, business and community flood plans
